Class Pass Terms & Conditions
Here's what you need to know about our class passes:
Agreement to Terms
By purchasing a class pass from Havana on the Hastings, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions AND our Participant Waiver, Release of Liability and Informed Consent Agreement (available below).
Age Restriction
All participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of enrolment and participation. We do not offer classes, workshops, or any activities to persons under the age of 18.
-
Persons under the age of 18 will not be admitted to any class or workshop, regardless of whether they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
-
Havana on the Hastings reserves the right to request proof of age at any time and to refuse entry to any person who cannot confirm they are 18 or older.
-
Passes purchased for or used by a person under 18 will be cancelled without refund.
Pass Purchases & Usage
What's included: Each pass credit covers any regular class (all levels and styles), Practise with Purpose sessions, and social nights. Choose your adventure!
All sales are final. Class passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be given for missed or unused classes — we get it, life happens, but our pricing is designed to give you value and flexibility already.
Passes are personal. Your pass is for you only and can't be shared with friends, partners, or family members. Everyone needs their own pass.
No upgrades mid-pass. Once you've purchased a pass, you can't upgrade to a larger one until it's used up or expired. We encourage you to think about your dance schedule before buying so you pick the right pass from the start.
Pass Validity & Extensions
12-week validity. Your pass is valid for 12 weeks from the date of purchase (not first use). This accounts for 2 weeks of school holidays.
Christmas exception. If our Christmas break runs longer than 2 weeks, we'll automatically extend your pass by the extra days so you don't lose classes.
No pauses or holds. Passes can't be paused for holidays, travel, or other commitments. Please factor in your plans when choosing your pass. If you're dealing with exceptional circumstances (serious injury, family emergency), get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
Booking & Attendance
Book ahead or just show up. Pre-booking helps us plan, but walk-ins are always welcome if there's space.
Right class, right level. Havana on the Hastings reserves the right to guide students to appropriate class levels or decline entry if a class isn't suitable for your experience level. This keeps everyone safe and learning at the right pace.
Photography & Filming
By participating in our classes and events, you consent to being photographed or filmed. We use these recordings for social media, marketing, and our website to share the joy of dance. If you'd prefer not to be filmed, just let our team know before class starts.
Behaviour & Safety
Dance with respect. We reserve the right to cancel passes and refuse entry for inappropriate behaviour. Havana on the Hastings is a welcoming community — let's keep it that way.
Your responsibility. We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings. Please look after your possessions during classes and events.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions.

5. Release & Waiver of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Participant agrees to:
• Release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Havana on the Hastings, its co-owners, instructors, teachers, administrators, volunteers, agents, and representatives (collectively, “the Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from or related to the Participant’s participation in any dance activity;
• Indemnify the Released Parties against any third-party claims arising from the Participant’s actions during classes or events;

• Not engage in any behaviour that risks the safety or wellbeing of others.
The Organisation reserves the right to remove any participant from a class or event without refund if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive.
7. Photography & Media Consent
From time to time, Havana on the Hastings may capture photographs or video during classes and events for use in promotional materials, social media, and community communications. By signing this agreement, the Participant consents to the use of their image unless they notify the Organisation in writing that they do not wish to be photographed or filmed.
8. Privacy & Personal Information
Personal information collected through this form will be used solely for the purpose of class administration, safety, and communication. Havana on the Hastings will not share personal information with third parties except as required by law. This information is handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
